This April, all month long, you can visit the CASA Exhibit to learn about stories from youth in our very own community who are in/have navigated the foster care system.
It was impactful to walk through the stories, it was emotional to read yet inspiring.
STESA is dedicated to supporting our community by collaborating with agencies like CASA to ensure that our services are available for survivors.
Stop by and support this month!

A little bit about what we are up to!
Our Raise The Bar (RTB) team has been working hard to conduct data collection over the last few weekends to support and inform the development of educational trainings and policy change in our community.
•This was Saturday’s SBDT team•
HUGE HUGE THANK YOU!!!!! to all our volunteers who went out to survey patrons in both Isla Vista and DT SB.
Thank you to our amazing Data & Collection committee led by UCSB’s Dr. Walid Afifi and Dr. Renee Houson for your time and dedication to the project. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who participated in the survey!
We can’t create change without our amazing community, we are grateful for everyone involved in every capacity!
i.e. flyer creating, coordinating training, coordinating food orders, coordinating schedules, surveying & so much more!
Thank you!!
