To help everyone prepare for SLC in just a few weeks, we’re doing a Goodwill/Downtown Santa Barbara trip today, Thursday 3/2. Meet at the MCC parking lot.

If you see us tabling or talking with students about what we do, our External directors are behind it! In charge of outreach and recruitment tasks, this duo makes sure we get new faces involved in fighting for student interests and continuing the Lobby Corps legacy! 💫

Meet our Scheduling director, Destiny! Destiny joined Lobby Corps this year and is in charge of coordinating lobby visits and meetings with our legislators! Without all her hard work none of this would be possible ☀️

Say hi to our Legislative directors, Katy and Sara! Katy joined us last year as a general member and now does great work taking on leg tasks. Sara has also been a fantastic addition to our team keeping us up to date on policy and political developments. On top of being some of the funniest members, these two are killing their roles! 🫶🏼

Our 22-23 Training directors, Hem and Esther, joined Lobby Corps this year and have been so dedicated to our mission! Whether it be tabling or doing leg bios, these two have been vital to Lobby Corps’ expansion and the development of our members’ skills. Swipe to read more about these amazing ladies!

Ray is one of the newest additions as our 22-23 Internal director! Thus far she’s really enjoyed getting into the swing of things, meeting the other Lobby Corps members, and working on projects for our upcoming Sacramento and DC lobbying trips. We’re beyond stoked to have her on the team! Swipe for more info🌻

Comms directors Ress and Noah have entered the chat! Ress previously served as an External director, but now rocks the IG page and creates content that gets our messages out to you students! Noah joined this year as a dedicated general member and took the plunge to get more involved with student government, advocacy, and use his skills as a comms major! You already know what to do—swipe for more info! 🤠

Next up is our 22-23 Labor Director, Nelson Mu! Nelson joined Lobby Corps last year as a general member, but after getting involved and joining us on lobby trips to Sacramento, he is now part of our executive board and has been doing some amazing work. Whether he’s giving a presentation on what makes a successful public comment, or educating our members on the recent UAW strikes, Nelson continues to blow us away with his commitment to student advocacy!
