Preserving our history, one stone at a time.
Work is officially underway at Fairview Cemetery to restore Hersch's beautiful headstones dating back to the 1920s. Sadly, a combination of age, weathering, and past vandalism caused this historic marker to topple over.

Bringing it back to its original glory is no simple task—headstone restoration is incredibly labor-intensive and requires an immense amount of patience, precision, and skill. We are dedicated to ensuring it is repaired safely and respectfully so it can stand tall for generations to come.

Take a look at the photos below to see what it looked like in its prime and the work being done now! We can't wait to share the final results with you.

Fairview Cemetery is going digital!

We've partnered with Chronicle to preserve our cemetery's history — with GPS grave location, searchable records, headstone photos, historic walking tours, and more.

This $16,800 project is only possible thanks to donations. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we can't do it without you. 💚
