After the storm comes the sunshine! ☀️💛

Our residents have returned home to Somerby Santa Rosa Beach following their temporary evacuation during Hurricane Isaias, and all is well at our community!

With a red carpet, balloons, and a heartfelt “Welcome Home,” we celebrated the bus’s arrival and the joy of being together again. Thank you to our team and everyone who helped care for our residents throughout the evacuation and their return.

🍂Who doesn’t love a beautiful fall wreath?!🍂

Today, our residents learned a fun new DIY trick to create their very own fall wreaths! We started with a simple pool noodle shaped into a circle, then used a wooden dowel or tweezers to gently push the fabric into the noodle and create a beautiful, festive design.

Easy, creative, and budget-friendly!

It was so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity come to life. Our residents proved once again that you don’t need complicated supplies to make something beautiful!

🍂🍻 Prost to a Wonderful Oktoberfest Celebration!

We had so much fun celebrating Oktoberfest at Somerby! From enjoying delicious German-inspired food and festive drinks to learning about German traditions and culture, our residents had a wonderful time making memories together.

And of course, what would Oktoberfest be without a little b**r! 🍺 Our celebration was filled with laughter, great conversation, music, and plenty of good cheer.

The past few weeks have been filled with creativity, laughter, and plenty of beautiful artwork here at Somerby!

Our residents have been busy exploring a variety of arts and crafts, from creating mason jars filled with pressed flowers and glowing fairy lights to painting pumpkins. 🎃🌸✨

We love welcoming each new season with opportunities to create, learn, connect, and have fun together. There’s no better way to kick off fall than with a little creativity and a lot of Somerby spirit! 🍁🤎

Our residents celebrated National Coffee Day with a unique and creative art activity painting with coffee!

It was a fun learning process as everyone experimented with the rich tones and textures of coffee as a painting medium. The results were absolutely beautiful! 🤎

We love finding new ways to turn everyday moments into opportunities for creativity, learning, and connection. Our residents had a wonderful time creating their own one-of-a-kind artwork and enjoying plenty of smiles along the way!

We had a wonderful time at our Farmers Market, but this one came with a fun twist — Build Your Own Smoothie! 🥤✨

Our residents got creative choosing their favorite fruits and veggies and mixing up their own delicious creations. It was a fun way to talk about the importance of eating healthy and getting plenty of fruits and vegetables into our day. 🍓🍌🥬🥕

Who says healthy eating has to be boring? When you make it fun, colorful, and delicious, healthy can be a whole lot of fun! 💚🥤
