SRCS welcomes comments and contributions to its social media sites, but please note contributions and comments will be moderated and these sites are not open public forums. All contributions and comments are at the discretion of the site monitor. The district reserves the right, but is not obligated to, remove contributions that it deems offensive, off topic, uncivil, or inappropriate. The intent of this practice is to maintain a positive and informative flow of communication while protecting the privacy and rights of our community. Contributions and comments to these sites are the opinion of the author and do not represent the district. SRCS social media sites are family-friendly and education based. We are here to support and inform our students, teachers, staff, parents and community. The “liking,” “following,” or any other interaction by SRCS with another user, business or organization, does not mean SRCS endorses that user, business or organization.

A big THANK YOU to the nearly 50 community members who joined us for the joint City Council & School Board meeting last night! 🙌 We talked about school safety, workforce pathways, and how successful schools and a strong economy are connected.

The School Board and City Council made three commitments:

✅ A School Board Trustee will join the Violence Prevention Partnership
✅ Leaders will pursue a Santa Rosa Compact – a partnership with these bodies, the City, higher education, and the business community to connect education and career opportunities
✅ Regular joint meetings will return to keep collaboration strong
