While the majority of Floridians want Florida’s extreme abortion ban to end, the fight is not over. In fact, our partners are ready to hold our leaders accountable to the will of the people in the 2025 legislative session. From the inception of Yes On 4, we understood that the fight for reproductive freedom would endure no matter the outcome of Amendment 4.
This fight has always been about more than one campaign—it’s a movement powered by our trusted partners, volunteers, and supporters like you. Thank you to this remarkable team, to our storytellers, to our doctors, to our volunteers, and to the 6 million Floridians who voted YES on 4. Thank you for every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears poured into this campaign.
Though we’re saddened by the outcome, we’re immensely proud of the movement we built together. With over 10 million voter contact attempts, we crossed the finish line knowing we did everything in our power to pass Amendment 4.
Despite relentless opposition and unprecedented political attacks—57% of Floridians voted to end the state’s extreme 6-week abortion ban. A MAJORITY of Floridians have spoken loud and clear: this ban must end. This fight is far from over.

💔 Tonight, Floridians made their voices heard loud and clear, demanding an end to the state’s restrictive 6-week abortion ban. While Amendment 4 fell just short of the 60%, a clear majority of voters have demanded lawmakers repeal the extreme abortion ban. Without immediate action from the legislature, Floridians will remain under a 6-week ban—one that impacts countless women before they may even realize they’re pregnant.
