Our Town Sarasota

These Sarasota Postal Carriers received pins for safe driving. (They prob would have preferred free gas:) Some have driven over one million miles delivering mail.

Existing single-family home sales increased by 23% in the Sarasota-Bradenton metro area in July 2011 relative to the same month a year ago. Home prices are up around 7% from their lows. The number of tourists to our area was up 7% also for the spring. All positive signs, think high not low:)

--- It was a gorgeous Sunday, the sun shone, the breeze blew, we had a brief rain, to give it a freshness. Children continued to frolick in their summer glee, and some of us helped to stimulate the economy with summer sales.....ending the day by the water with peace and joy ♥

Thi shoe keeps making it from store to store in Gulf Gate Village.......

This shoe went looking for a home. First at Rico's Pizza, then at the GG Barber Shop, who knows where next. Does it belong to Randyrella or? Let it not be said we don't cover some of the greater mysteries in Sarasota:)

--- Florida’s West Coast Region of the American Red Cross has announced that Megarie D. van Sickel has been chosen to be the Chief Executive Officer for the Southwest Florida Chapter. Megarie has been the Executive Director of the Charlotte County Chapter for the last twelve years.
