CASL is honored to have received the Pride of Florida Award bestowed upon us and Blue Sky Communities by Southwest Florida!
As stated by the eloquent host of the event:
"We came across an organization that, like so many of them that are of service in our communities, they're not well heralded; they're not well known. They go about their work quietly, not a lot of fanfare because many times their work is not glamorous, but yet it's the most vital work that they could do within those communities. The work of housing for all Americans across the country is a formidable mission and goal. And today across Florida and across the country there are small armies of dedicated workers and volunteers who work in mission with others to provide safe affordable and supportive housing for adults with disabilities, housing options for working families to reduce and tackle homelessness in our communities. Senators Passidomo, Albritton, and Martin have been and continue to be deeply involved in the crushing need of housing in our communities. Recent tough times and developments and trends makes the need all the more greater. A great partnership has been developed of two organizations that are really making a difference and again a small revolution in our region and that is Community Assisted & Supported Living, Inc. with Blue Sky Communities. They've developed and flourished with incredible results to our region and it needs to be recognized. "
Southwest Florida is a core service area of "Blue CASL", where we have developed 255 units of Permanent Supportive Housing, with many more planned:
⭐ Cypress Village, 95 units, Winkler Ave, Fort Myers;
⭐ Jacaranda Place, 88 units, Loveland Blvd, Charlotte County;
⭐ Blue Coral, 72 units, De Navarra Pkwy., Cape Coral.
