Coalition of School Safety Directors to Host Leadership Track at 22nd Annual National School Safety Conference

The Coalition of School Safety Directors, comprised of active school safety directors and campus police chiefs, will host a specialized school safety leadership track during the 22nd Annual National School Safety Conference, scheduled for July 20–24, 2026, at the Omni ChampionsGate Resort in Orlando, Florida. The conference is widely recognized as one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive gatherings focused on school safety and security.
This specialized leadership track is designed for school safety executives and education leaders, including superintendents, principals, school safety directors, mental health professionals, law enforcement executives, and school resource officers. Sessions will address critical topics such as security event planning, collaboration with local law enforcement, managing district-wide training processes, behavioral threat assessment, and school safety assessments.

Hosted by the School Safety Advocacy Council, the conference typically draws more than 1,000 school safety decision-makers from across the country and features nearly 50 breakout sessions led by professionals in education, law enforcement, and school safety. The event also includes one of the nation’s largest school safety expo halls, giving leaders the opportunity to explore the latest technologies, services, and best practices designed to reduce threats and risks in K-12 environments.
