Less than two hours left in the 2022 Giving Challenge! Could you support SWAC before noon today?
Donations between $25 and $100 will be matched by The Patterson Foundation!
Since 2014 SWAC has provided community education featuring qualified experts on a wide variety of critical and timely international issues. We are a bare-bones program, run almost entirely by volunteers. Our programs are free to the general public in line with our mission to foster a greater understanding of world affairs among the Sarasota community. We have counted on memberships and occasional donations to fund our work, but inflation is making the challenge increasingly difficult. Almost all our income goes to bringing our speakers to Sarasota and offering the popular member events.
Your participation in the Giving Challenge will ensure that SWAC is able to continue to carry out its important mission.
Thank you for your support!

SWAC is back! Thank you so much, Selby Gardens - Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, for hosting our first lecture back in person! After a full season of virtual lectures through the pandemic, it was lovely to return to in person events and see so many of our friends.
We enjoyed a lecture featuring Sierra Club President Ramon Cruz as well as a showcase of over 20 local environmental groups!
