Law Enforcement Officers face disasters every day and are the first on the scene to protect and save lives - often while risking their own.
LEORF was established to provide support and resources to officers and family members. LEORF will support families of officers killed in the line-of-duty, lessen the financial hardship faced by officers seriously injured in the line-of-duty and give officers assistance in dealing with the devastation caused by a natural Disaster.

A Daytona Beach Police Officer was shot in the head Wednesday night while investigating a man in a suspicious car. The Officer is a twenty-six year old, three-year veteran, who has not been identified and remains in critical condition following emergency surgery. A manhunt is ongoing for the suspect, Othal Wallace, a twenty-nine year-old African American who is driving a grey 2016 Honda HRV bearing California license plate .
Law Enforcement Officers Relief Fund (LEORF) joins with the International Union of Police Associations who represent the Daytona Beach Police Department in expressing that this brave officer, as well as his friends and family, will remain in our thoughts and prayers. We also pray for the success and safety of those involved in the search for Wallace.
