SVFD responded to 25 emergency calls last month, involving 15 medical, 4 road traffic accidents and several fires.

We are grateful to everyone who dropped off their aluminum cans for recycling ♻️. Today we delivered 560 pounds 💪 of cans. The proceeds help offset some of our running costs. 🚒 🏥. Also, if you stomp on or crush your cans before donating them to us, we’ll be able to take an even bigger load next time 😉!

Please be mindful of what you place in your household garbage. Chemicals and hazardous materials can create extremely dangerous situations for sanitation workers, emergency responders, and our community.

Please dispose of these materials properly and help us keep Sargent safe. 🚒
