The Satsuma Gators Cross Country team competed Wednesday at the Mobile County Championships at Faith Academy. Despite a challenging course featuring numerous sharp turns and long stretches in the sun, the Gators turned in several strong performances!

Cohen Taylor led the boys with an outstanding 3rd-place finish (16:59), followed by Riley Adams (18:44) and Aiden Wells (20:25).

On the girls' side, Kyla Blackwood led the way with a 20th-place finish (21:57), followed by Ella Hollifield (22:29) and Pierce Robertson (22:43).

Several younger Gators also had impressive performances, including Oliver Blair (23:15) and Willa Singley (24:57), who both recorded personal-best times!

The Gators will compete again Saturday as they continue preparing for the AHSAA Sectional Championships on October 29.

We are proud of the hard work and determination these athletes continue to show!

Mrs. Ruttley’s Honors Chemistry students are thinking like scientists
as they design investigations to identify the types of bonding in five
mystery substances! 🧪 By testing physical properties, planning
carefully, observing closely, and collecting accurate data, students
built evidence-based claims to support their conclusions.

Science in action—one discovery at a time! 🐊
