CARSS (Call A Ride for Sausalito Seniors) Offering Scheduled and SAME DAY RIDES
Starting February 7th

Need a ride within Sausalito? The CARSS program is available!

CARSS is a free transportation program for residents of Sausalito and the Floating Homes ages 60 and older. The rides are provided by vetted volunteers who drive their own cars.

Starting February 7th drivers will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 to 2:00; call the day before or that day for a ride. If you need a ride at other times or days just call 48 hours to schedule the ride.

Schedule a ride for any reason - to go to the dentist, go for walk on the waterfront, hair appointment, shopping, a community event, anything - we can take you!

All riders and drivers must be fully vaccinated and wear masks in the car.

Not a member of CARSS? Sign up today for free door to door rides around town and Gateway Shopping Center. Errands done for you is also available. For more information and to download an application, go to www.CARSS4you.org OR call at 415-944-5474.

Edgewater Senior Club enjoyed high tea at Crown and Crumpet in Ross. The weather was great, the outdoor seating was perfect, the tea, food and service were excellent and most of all....it was great to be together!

Sausalito Village/Age Friendly Sausalito and CARSS (Call A Ride for Sausalito Seniors) came together to host a booth at the 42nd Annual Chili Cook Off and GUESS WHAT?? We won Judge's Choice second place!! AND we served health conscious vegan chili! ( Black beans, sweet potatoes, green peppers, purple onions, corn, crushed tomatoes and secret spices that include cinnamon). BUT the most important part of the day was sharing information about the programs and signing up some new volunteers!
