“I wear a couple hats but the biggest one is storytelling through comic books. All my tales focus on black and brown people. Currently I am working on my afro-fantasy series Tempo. In this world people can physically manifest music, bridging the gap between Hip-hop and Fantasy. There's streetwear and dragons and swords and MF DOOM and a bunch of other stuff, it's dope. It feels self indulgent to say this next sentence haha but, I do also dabble a bit in fashion. Like the smallest amount of dabbling. It brings me joy designing hoodies and shirts to compliment the release of the books. Every book has been self published through crowdfunding, it is an honor to have so much support for these worlds I build. The third book is being drawn between these sentences I type and should be expected early next year. Thank you” -
