Join us in supporting Chatham Area Transit workers who are calling on the community to sign their petition and stand in solidarity with their struggle for a fair and decent contract.
Link in our bio! Sign and Share and Stay Tuned for next steps. Workers deserve fair wages, safe conditions, dignity and respect, and recognition of their legal right to organize.
"CAT is woefully short on transit workers to keep the system running, and it’s not getting any better. It got so bad that recently, an elderly ADA paratransit rider was left behind at a doctor's office for four hours. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The source of all of this? The CEO Stephanie Cutter. Ever since she came into the role, CAT has gone downhill for both workers and riders. Time’s up to solve these problems. It’s time for new leadership at CAT and for the community to turn a new page in making CAT the transit system it’s supposed to be.
To voice your support for our fight for a fair and decent contract and accountability at CAT, sign the petition!"

Join us on Monday, May 25 at 7pm at the Sentient Bean to learn how to ensure your workplace is a safe space.
A 4th Amendment Workplace uses legally vetted protocols to:
- Identify invalid ICE warrants
- Secure private employee areas
- Document unconstitutional actions
- Defend all workers, no matter their immigration status
Please RSVP at the link in our bio so we have a head count! (Or dm for a direct link or to confirm your attendance if you don't wanna RSVP) Southernworker.org/sav-iceout
We have window stickers available for businesses who commit to being an ICE free zone.
Don't know if your boss will support? You and your coworkers can get together to demand that your workplace does anyways - because workers have the power! It'll take some collective action and planning, but we're happy to help support workers ready to organize!

🌹 New time for Mutual aid sharings! 2-4 pm every Saturday on Waters & 37th Avenue🌹
Mutual aid is a system of solidarity-based support and aims to share resources and skills among those in need to build community strength. Savannah DSA gets together every Saturday to share donated goods and a warm meal with the community and each other. It's one of our favorite activities and we've been hosting this sharing for over two years!
This is an open community event and we welcome anyone to join us on Saturdays to help set up, break down, and/or hang out.
We are always in need of donations! Please share! 🌹

The call to action is clear - ICE is terrorizing our city. Yes, right here in Savannah and the surrounding areas. Georgia has the 4th largest number of ICE arrests in the country. And we need YOU to be prepared and ready to defend our neighbors!
You may see ICE as you commute in town, and this training is designed to help you respond by using your rights to safely document the instance. You can also join a coordinated network that responds to hotline calls.
🌹Join us every second Wednesday at 6 pm for the training
🌹 RSVP using the link in our bio or visit savgadsa.org/events!
🌹Tell a friend or co-worker
P.s We are more than happy to schedule group training any other time for community groups per request.
