We serve as a museum of plants, tranquil escape, living classroom, and an impressive, historic venue. One greenhouse displays orchids. Pets are not permitted.

Historic bamboo groves and trees planted in the early 20th century are found at what locals affectionately just nicknamed "the Bamboo Farm." Historically, it was a USDA plant introduction station, starting in 1919. The Blue Whale’s Tongue Agave gets its name from its wide, smooth, blue‑green leaves that resemble the tongue of a blue whale.
