“I felt compelled to write this letter regarding the outstanding service I always receive at one of your stores located in Orchard Park, NY. I go to this store at least once a month to fax and have copies made. The service by all the employees is always knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. An employee named Ryan Alsop typically waits on me…. I actually look forward to seeing him.... My sister was recently in town and needed to ship a package. I told her to go to The UPS Store. When she returned home, she said the nicest young man had waited on her. I commented that it must have been Ryan!

I feel strongly that outstanding customer service needs to be acknowledged. I can’t say enough good things about Ryan and the other employees at this store. I wish everyone I have to deal with was like these folks. Just wanted to let you what a terrific employee you have working for your company.”

Fast-forward to 2023. Jo Ann and 6 of her children work at UPS. 🤯

All of Jo Ann's children have taken advantage of UPS tuition assistance and some have decided to build their careers at UPS after graduation.

"Once I saw what UPS had to offer, I was going to make it work," Jo Ann said. "UPS has given my kids and opportunity to have a better quality of life."

“So, I’m driving my UPS package car down Palm Bay Rd and a mother in a SUV is on my left. She’s beeping her horn 🚙 trying to get my attention. I’m at a red light 🔴 so I look to my left and there is a young girl in the SUV waving at me and says ‘hi!’ I say ‘hi’ back and she’s so surprised that I’m a WOMAN. 🙋🏽‍♀️ The young girl yells, ‘Mommy, she’s a girl!’😂 She immediately becomes so excited by the fact that I am a female truck driver. She’s amazed at the big brown UPS truck. It really warmed my heart. So to all my strong, go-getting women. Not that you need to be reminded, but it’s nice to be reminded, that you are a role model to someone every day. So as you step out into the world be the best role model you can because someone is always watching.” ~ UPSer LaToya Hicks
