Northside’s Annual Veterans Day Program

❤️🤍💙 Northside Elementary is honored to celebrate the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country!

📅 Wednesday, November 11th
⏰ 9:00 AM

We invite all veterans and active-duty military personnel to join us for this special program as we honor their service and sacrifice.

📸 Help Us Honor Our Heroes!

As part of our program, we will feature a slideshow recognizing veterans and current active-duty military members who are special to our Northside family! Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit a picture along with the individual’s name, rank, and branch of military service.

📩 How to Submit:

Email pictures and information to Courtney McCall at [email protected]

Or send them to school in an envelope.

If you don’t have a picture, you can still submit the information! The individual’s name will be included on the slide for their military branch.

📌 Submission Deadline: Friday, November 6th

We look forward to welcoming our families and honoring the heroes who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve! ❤️🤍💙

🐯❤️ A huge THANK YOU to the Hardin County Fire Department and Savannah Fire Department for visiting our Pre-K through 1st grade students and teaching us all about fire safety!

Our little learners had a blast exploring the fire truck 🚒, meeting real-life firefighters 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒, and learning important tips to help keep themselves and others safe in an emergency!
We are so thankful for the time you took to visit Northside and help our students learn these valuable, potentially life-saving lessons! ❤️

Today, Jaggar Thompson visited Mrs. Katie’s 5th-grade class to talk about two very important topics: seatbelt safety and being responsible on social media! 🚗📱

Over the past few weeks, students have been reading and learning about both topics, making his visit a perfect opportunity to ask questions, learn some fun facts, and make real-world connections to what they’ve been studying! 💡

The students absolutely loved having him as a guest, and they’ve already been asking when he can come back! We’d say that’s a pretty great sign of a memorable visit! 😊

A big thank-you to Jaggar Thompson for taking the time to visit our students and share such valuable information! We appreciate you helping our students learn how to stay safe and make responsible choices! 🐯🤍
