🌎🌊 Join us on June 6th in celebrating World Ocean Day at the Gray's Reef Ocean Discovery Center! Meet the life-size inflatable North Atlantic right whale calf, Lefty, then learn about microplastics in the afternoon! This event is completely free, and we can't wait to see you there.

Before embarking on the 2026 Southeast Regional Ecosystem Assessment, NOAA's Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary and NOAA Ship Nancy Foster will hold an open house on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 12- 3 p.m.

In groups of 10, NOAA Ship Nancy Foster officers and Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary scientists will guide public guests throughout the vessel. Along the River Street pier in Savannah, GA, Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary, the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, and NOAA Ship Nancy Foster will have informational booths with activities.

From July 7th to August 28th, we are hosting weekly programming with rotating themes to get everyone (no matter your age!) pumped up about Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary!

All events are completely free and will take place at the Gray's Reef Ocean Discovery Center! We're open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and we're located at 340 MLK Jr. BLVD. in Savannah, GA. We can't wait to see you this summer!
