As families head out on the water this Memorial Day weekend, here are some important reminders to help keep everyone safe.

The Lifejacket Loaner Boards at Chatham County boat ramps have been restocked for the holiday weekend! This program provides free access to lifejackets for infants, youth, and adults.

Lifejackets are available at Chatham County boat ramps if:
• You forgot to bring one
• Your child’s vest no longer fits properly
• You need an extra for the day

Simply borrow a lifejacket, enjoy your time on the water, and return it when you’re done.

As you prepare for your next boating adventure, remember that wearing a life jacket is one of the simplest and most important ways to stay safe on the water. Making sure your life jacket fits properly and is in good condition can make all the difference.

These loaner stations are here with one goal in mind: helping everyone stay safe this holiday weekend and throughout the summer boating season

Join us for Make A Splash on Saturday, May 16th from 9:00AM - 12:00PM. Free water safety event for kids ages 6-12! There are still time to register for Make A Splash! Registration is open until Wednesday, May 13th.

May is National Water Safety Month! The Chatham County Aquatic Center is hosting “Make A Splash” which is a FREE water safety event for kids ages 6-12 years old on Saturday, May 16th.

This FREE event will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chatham County Aquatic Center.

Pre-registration is required for all participants. Please visit https://aquatic.chathamcountyga.gov/ and click on the link on the flyer on the homepage to reserve your space.

The Lap Pool is open as of 11:00AM today!
