Established in 1984, West Chatham Warning Devices continues to be the leader in emergency vehicle equipment sales, service, and upfitting. As we continue to grow, we are in need of entry level upfitters for our Savannah, Georgia location. We are looking for Automotive Equipment Installers with basic automotive electrical skills who want to join our team and grow with us.
The right individual should possess the following:
•Have your own tools or be able to acquire them in a timely manner
•Have a great attitude
•Be Observant
•Pay attention to detail
•Be the kind of person who can stay busy with little supervision
•Always produce quality work
•Have a valid drivers license with clean MVR
•Submit to and pass a drug screen
•Present a neat appearance
•Have a high school diploma or equivalent
•Be willing to travel regionally
•Be fluent in both verbal and written English.

SPD Mourns Loss of Officer

SAVANNAH, GA (August 29, 2022): Savannah Police Department is mourning the loss of a Northwest Precinct officer who died in a traffic collision on the way home from work.

Officer Reginald Brannan, 23, was traveling home from work in his personal vehicle around midnight when his vehicle collided with a tractor trailer in the 4200 block of Highway 21 in Garden City. He died as a result of his injuries. Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.

Brannan joined the department in December 2020.

“Our hearts are broken over the sudden and tragic loss of Officer Brannan,” Chief Lenny Gunther said. “He was a young officer just starting his career. We ask everyone to keep his family, friends and the SPD family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of this member of our SPD family.”
