Let Chatham County Recycles take them off your hands safely and for FREE.

(No residency required — everyone’s welcome.)

We’re collecting hard‑to‑recycle items that don’t belong in your curbside bin, including:

• Tires
• Plastics #5–7
• All types of batteries
• Corks
• Eyeglasses
• Electronic waste (e waste)

Bring your tricky items, clear out your space and help keep our community cleaner and greener.

Small actions add up in a big way.

Special Event coming up! We are hosting a Hard2Recycle day on February 21 to accept additional materials. Bring items including plastics #5-7, all battery types, eyeglasses, corks, and of course, tires!

Leading up to our Hard 2 Recycle event, we will accept tires for the week of February 17-21 during normal hours.

We can't wait!

Join us at the Juliette Gordon Low Park on February 28th from 10am-4pm! We can’t wait for a fun filled day featuring 50+ artists, live music, children’s crafts, food trucks, and a gently-used book sale!

We will be joining GreenDrinks Savannah tomorrow for their first event of the year!

6 pm at Starland Yard. Bring your hard to recycle items and E-Waste!

Rick Petrea is the winner of the glass recycling contest, with a piece made from repurposed glass items and disposed automotive glass. Rick’s work includes mixed media paintings, sculptures, collage, ceramics, and photographs. His work has been exhibited throughout the USA and other countries around the world.
