Got those awkward, “uhhh… where does THIS go?” items piling up?
Let Chatham County Recycles take them off your hands safely and for FREE.

📍 1321 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah
(No residency required — everyone’s welcome.)
We’re collecting hard‑to‑recycle items that don’t belong in your curbside bin, including:
• Tires
• Plastics #5–7
• All types of batteries
• Corks
• Eyeglasses
• Electronic waste (e waste)
Bring your tricky items, clear out your space and help keep our community cleaner and greener.

Special Event coming up! We are hosting a Hard2Recycle day on February 21 to accept additional materials. Bring items including plastics #5-7, all battery types, eyeglasses, corks, and of course, tires!

Rick Petrea is the winner of the glass recycling contest, with a piece made from repurposed glass items and disposed automotive glass. Rick’s work includes mixed media paintings, sculptures, collage, ceramics, and photographs. His work has been exhibited throughout the USA and other countries around the world.
