Last night was not the outcome we hoped for, but Carrie, the kids, and I are grateful for the journey and for every person who stood with us.
Thank you to every voter across Georgia’s 1st District who participated in this election. I am grateful for the conversations, encouragement, and trust so many of you shared with me along the way.
To our volunteers, supporters, donors, friends, and family, thank you. You gave your time, energy, prayers, resources, and belief to this campaign, and we could not have done it without you.
I am proud of the race we ran. We showed up, listened, worked hard, treated people with respect, and left everything on the field.
This campaign was about service, leadership, and a belief that Southeast Georgia deserves people who are willing to step forward and do the work.
Thank you for believing in me, our family, and this campaign.
God bless Georgia’s 1st District, and God bless the United States of America.

Election Day is tomorrow.
Tonight, I simply want to say thank you.
Thank you to every person who put their faith in this campaign. To those who voted early, made phone calls, knocked on doors, put up signs, shared our message, offered encouragement, prayed for our family, or gave their time and resources to this cause, thank you.
Carrie, the kids, and I have been humbled by the kindness and support we have received across the 1st District. From Savannah to the Golden Isles, from our farming communities to our military towns, we have seen the goodness, patriotism, and strength of the people of Southeast Georgia.
One thing I learned in the Army is that no mission is accomplished alone. Success belongs to people willing to step forward, work hard, and believe that together they can accomplish something greater than themselves.
That spirit is what this campaign has been about from the very beginning. Service above self. Love of country. Faith in our communities. And the belief that steady leadership still matters.
Tomorrow, we finish what we started.
Make your plan to vote. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Text someone tonight. Call someone tonight. Encourage someone tomorrow. Let’s show the country the strength and spirit of Georgia’s 1st District.
Thank you for believing in this campaign. Thank you for believing in Southeast Georgia. And with your help tomorrow, we are going to bring this home.
Vote Brian Montgomery for Congress!

Yesterday was an incredible afternoon at My Veteran’s Place Family Day at Lake Mayer Park.
Carrie and I enjoyed spending time with veterans, military families, local nonprofits, and veteran-owned businesses all coming together in support of those who have served.
My Veteran’s Place Savannah is doing meaningful work by helping veterans and military families with housing support, mental health resources, job training, and community programs. That kind of mission matters because service does not end when the uniform comes off.
I am grateful to Dr. Faye Prescott and the entire My Veteran’s Place team for creating a day focused on connection, resources, and appreciation for our military community.

Carrie and I started yesterday at Cars and Coffee, and it was a great way to kick off a beautiful Saturday!
There is just something about good coffee, classic cars, horsepower, and great conversations that makes for a perfect morning.
With this being the final weekend before Election Day on Tuesday, May 19th, every conversation matters. I am grateful for the encouragement, the support, and the chance to keep earning every vote.
Vote Brian Montgomery for Congress!

On Armed Forces Day, I find myself reflecting on what service to this nation has meant in my own life.
From enlisting, to West Point, to the 82nd Airborne Division and the 3rd Infantry Division, to deployments overseas, and later having the privilege to lead soldiers and their families, my journey in uniform shaped who I am.
It taught me that leadership is not about title or recognition. It is about responsibility, sacrifice, teamwork, and showing up when others are counting on you.
I served alongside some of the finest men and women this country has ever produced. These are soldiers who missed birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and countless moments at home because the mission came first. Their courage, discipline, and love of country remain one of the greatest examples of service I have ever known.
Today, we honor every man and woman serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force. We also honor the families who serve right alongside them.
My time in uniform may be complete, but my commitment to service is not. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to serve this nation, and I will always stand with those who wear the uniform.
God bless our Armed Forces, and God bless the United States of America.
