🐾 It's All in the Details… and This Detail Is PURRFECT! ❤️

Meet Detail, an 8-year-old, 13-pound bundle of love who is looking for his forever home!

If you're looking for a cat with endless energy, Detail might not be your guy. But if you're looking for mildly playful, professional snuggler, full-time lap warmer, and absolute sweetheart, you've hit the jackpot!

Detail is incredibly affectionate. He LOVES being held, cuddled, petted, and loved on. He's the kind of cat who makes you feel like you're his favorite person in the whole world.

At 8 years young, Detail has outgrown the kitten chaos and perfected the art of being a wonderful companion. He's neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready to settle into a home where he can give and receive all the love he deserves.

Please consider giving this sweet gentleman the forever home he's been waiting for. We promise, he's worth paying attention to! 🐱

💕 Visit him at the Schofield Municipal Center, 351 Alderson St during business hours & Apply to adopt Detail at www.catsndogs.org

If you haven't met Detail, you are missing out! This large and in charge 8 year-old boy is absolutely magnificent. He is easy-peasy and such a snuggler. We haven't been able to get him interested in toys, but if you want to sit and pet him, hold him, scratch him, or snuggle him, he is 100% interested 100% of the time. He also likes to be worn like a scarf (seriously...see pics below). He would make a wonderful companion; we just know the perfect family is out there. Come meet him at the Schofield Municipal Center, 351 Alderson St during business hours and apply to adopt him at: www.catsndogs.org

Our Arbor Day event looked a little different this year - not only did we hold it in September instead of May, but we were honored to welcome Dr. Artur Stefanski from the UW Stevens Point College of Natural Resources along with a group of his students to lead the charge in our Community Tree Planting event.

Dr. Stefanski educated us on features of the trees, assisted with our plant layout, and demonstrated correct planting and pruning practices. The tree selection was informed by all the community responses received from our tree survey earlier this summer. Students worked hard planting and staking 42 trees along our future community connector trail and as a bonus, our summer forestry intern returned to help with the event. It was great to collaborate with the university and work with some future leaders in forestry!

If you'd like to come out and help plant some trees, we are hosting a planting event this Wednesday, September 30th! Students from the UWSP Forestry program will be on hand to plant and provide education to community members on best urban forestry practices.
