🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, Scotch Plains PBA Local 87 pauses to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken from their families, the brave police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away, and the countless heroes who answered the call to serve in the days, weeks, and years that followed.

We remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness displayed that day. We remember the families who lost loved ones, and we honor those who continue to carry their memory forward.

As law enforcement officers, we understand the responsibility that comes with wearing the badge. The events of September 11 remind us that service is more than a profession — it is a commitment to protect, to serve, and to stand ready when our community needs us most.

We will never forget the lives lost.
We will never forget the sacrifices made.
We will never forget the heroes who answered the call.

🇺🇸 May we always honor their memory by continuing to serve with courage, integrity, and dedication.

Scotch Plains PBA Local 87
All Gave Some. Some Gave All.
NEVER FORGET. 9/11.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from Scotch Plains PBA Local 87! 💙

Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures and recognize the incredible members of Local 87 who proudly serve our community while also embracing the most important role of all—being a dad.

Whether they are working weekends, holidays, or missing special moments to answer the call, our officers make countless sacrifices to provide for and protect both their families and the residents of Scotch Plains. Their dedication, strength, and love extend far beyond the badge.

To all the fathers in our community, and especially to our brothers in blue who balance the demands of law enforcement with the joys and responsibilities of fatherhood, we wish you a very Happy Father’s Day.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and your unwavering commitment to your families and our community.
