As we get closer to the start of Early Voting on October 15, I want to share a few important dates and deadlines for the upcoming election.

Please note: The attached information applies specifically to Scotland County. While the election dates and deadlines are the same statewide, voting hours and locations may vary by county. If you live outside Scotland County, please contact your local Board of Elections for the most accurate information.

Voting is one of the most important ways we can make our voices heard. Today, voters have more opportunities than ever to participate, including absentee voting by mail, 13 days of early voting, and Election Day on November 3.

Whatever method works best for you, make a plan, get involved, and exercise your right to vote.

Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Make it count.

I'm running a little behind posting this and did not get a picture of everyone, but I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that came out to support me during the fundraiser held on August 6th. It was a great turn out and you will never know how deeply appreciative I am.

Your friendship, encouragement, and generosity are things I will always be grateful for. I’m truly humbled by the number of people who continue to stand beside me and believe in this campaign.

When you go to cast your vote, I ask that you also consider voting for Todd Scott (District Attorney), Dr. Ralph Carter (NC House), Bo Frizzell (County Commissioner), Jacob E. Pate (School Board), and Tim Ivey (County Commissioner). All of these men are uniquely qualified for the office they are seeking and have the best interest of our community at heart.

Early voting begins October 15th, and as we continue moving forward, I ask that you keep spreading the word, talking with your friends and neighbors, and encouraging others to get involved.

Thank you again for your continued support. It means more to me than you know, and I look forward to finishing this journey together.
