Just as we were loaded up from fire fest, we were paged to a structure fire off faulkner lake rd. Sq1, E4, Tr1, T2, E1, and T1 responded. Sq1 got on scene and advised it was just burn pile. Home owner was advised we are still under a burn ban, and fire was extinguished. Thanks to McAlmont Fire Department E1 and T1 for the response..

This afternoon we were paged to assist South Bend Fire District #10 with a residential fire. E-4 (slimer) Tr-1 and Sq-1 responded. Chief 1 arrived juat after South Bends engine, and made an interior attack, and initiated a primary search. Unfortunately we pulled 1 dog out shortly after arrival, and although we gave him compressions and oxygen, he didnt make it. Another dog was found later, but also didnt make it.
