Sometimes, the simplest words leave the biggest impact. 💙💛

We had to give you an even closer look at what our families wrote as heartfelt shout-outs to their children. Words of love, encouragement, and pride that remind our Wildcats just how special they are. 🥹

A few simple words can mean more than we realize. Never underestimate the power of telling someone you believe in them. 💛

🏡 Home Connect: Keep it simple. Take a moment this week to affirm someone in your family. Tell them something you love about them, something you're proud of, or something you appreciate. Then talk about how it feels to give and receive those words. Little moments of encouragement can make a lasting difference.

💨 **Harnessing the Power of Wind!** 💡

What makes a windmill work? Mrs. Lewis’ 4th graders found out firsthand! 🌬️

Our young engineers built their very own windmills that actually generated enough electricity to light up an LED! 💡⚡ They had a blast “harnessing” the power of their own breath to make their creations work!

What a fun way to explore wind energy and see science in action! 🌎

🏡 **Home Connect:** You don’t need a windmill to explore the power of wind! 🌬️ As a family, head outside and observe how wind moves leaves, trees, or flags. Talk about how wind can be used to create energy. For an extra challenge, make a paper pinwheel and see what happens when you blow on it or hold it in the breeze!
