Why is early intervention important?
The connections in a baby's brain are most adaptable in the first three years of life. These connections, also called neural circuits, are the foundation for learning, behavior, and health. Over time, these connections become harder to change (cdc.gov)

Early services, long term success:
We know that the early years establish the foundation upon which later learning and development take place. Although babies grow and develop at different rates, most follow a predictable path and learn to walk, talk, and gain new skills in expected ways. (zerotothree.org)
Early intervention can help infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays achieve better developmental outcomes. It also supports families in meeting their children’s needs and can protect at-risk children from factors that may hinder their development. (zerotothree.org)
