A ribbon cutting. A new chapter. More ways to connect with the library. 📚✂️

We enjoyed celebrating Lancaster County Library’s new lending machine at CrossRidge in Indian Land, SC, alongside State Senator Michael Johnson, members of Lancaster County’s economic development board, South Carolina State Library staff, and Lancaster County Library staff.

From cutting the ribbon to checking out a first read, it was exciting to see this new library outreach location come to life!

A ribbon worth celebrating! We loved seeing the Boyne District Library community come together to officially welcome its new ILS lending machine.

Projects like this are about more than technology. They’re about making library materials easier to access and creating more ways for the library to serve its community. We’re proud to have helped bring this project to life and grateful to the Boyne team for their partnership.

From installation day to shelves full of books! 📚✨

Calhoun County Library’s new LL6 Lending Library at the Palmetto Express truck stop in Gaston is stocked and ready for staff training. A new book drop has also been installed nearby to make returns quick and convenient.

Soon, community members will be able to pick up and return library books while stopping for gas, coffee, snacks, or groceries - bringing library access directly into their everyday routines.

We can’t wait to see this new outreach location connect more people with their library!

A new library access point rolled into Gaston, South Carolina, today! 📚

In partnership with Calhoun County Library and the South Carolina State Library, we installed an LL6 Lending Library at the Palmetto Express truck stop.

Now, among the coffee, snacks, gas, and groceries, library patrons can also pick up a last-minute read before continuing their commute. It’s another great example of how libraries can expand access by bringing books directly into the places people already visit.

We can’t wait to see this machine filled with library books - and to watch this new location connect more people with their library!

Not very nonchalant about 24/7 library access. 📚

Because work shifts, school schedules, and caregiving responsibilities shouldn’t decide when someone can reach their library.

From automated lending kiosks to smart pickup lockers, libraries can make materials available on the community’s time- while staff focus on the services only people can provide.

Yeah, we’re pretty excited about that.
