On October 15, we will have our annual White Elephant Auction. The Residents play bingo all year and earn bingo bucks which is the only way to bid on and purchase items. This is a highlight of the year and super fun. Please support it if you can. Robin our new Activities Director models one of our donated outfits.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Rosewood had their annual awareness program with Sabrina Cox from MMI Breast Center on Oct. 7th. We had a great time as usual. Thank you Sabrina for the presentation and doorprizes. Remember ladies,and yes gentlemen too, get those mammograms!

September 17th was Quacky Day at Rosewood. Never a dull moment with our Staff!

September 16 was 70s and 80s Day here at Rosewood. Pretty good especially for those who werent even alive in that great era!

September 15 was "Crazy Hair Day" here at Rosewood. As you can see our Staff has amazing creativity and talent. Needless to say we had a wonderful and "haireffic" day!

Rosewood Residents enjoyed a trip to the Jackson County Fair. Although the Fair did not open until the evening, Mr. Jim opened the gate and gave us a guided tour around the loop to see and explain the various rides. He also opened the building so we could view the exhibits where our own Mrs. Pearl won some ribbons including a First Place in Adult Coloring. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Thank you Mr. Jim.

On August 13 the East Alabama Dulcimers came for Live Entertainment for our residents. They come every 2nd Thursday of the month and entertain in both buildings. We always have fun singing an animated "I'll Fly Away". If you're ever at Rosewood on that day stop by and listen. You'll enjoy them as well. They are a unique group.
