It is a Project-Based Learning model that teaches the state standards by utilizing real world projects. SHS Students, regardless of the course of study that they choose, may participate in athletics, band, choir and clubs! SHS Students have the opportunity to earn more than 25 college credits from SHS Partner institutions such as Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University and Vincennes University. All SHS students have begun the move to a 21st Century Learning environment that features teacher-developed curriculum, cloud-based instruction and the beginnings of a virtual school.
