❤️ Red Ribbon Week is underway, and SYSAC is bringing substance use prevention awareness to schools across Scottsdale!

Throughout the week, the Scottsdale Youth Substance Abuse Coalition (SYSAC) has been visiting schools to share presentations and encourage students to make healthy, informed choices. Students can also stop by SYSAC’s lunch tables to participate in activities, take a pledge and enter for a chance to win a prize.

SYSAC empowers teens to educate their peers and build a healthier community through substance use awareness and prevention.

Meet Jennifer! 👋 She's one of the many volunteers at the Scottsdale Food Bank, and over the next few weeks, she'll be highlighting some of our needs as we head into the holiday season.

Today, we're talking about diapers, wipes and ointments. These everyday essentials can be expensive for families with young children, and we're here to help provide more than just food. We want to make sure our clients have access to the essentials they need to maintain their dignity during difficult times.

🛒 The next time you're at Costco, consider picking up a pack of diapers to donate! We'll divide larger packs into smaller bundles to help serve more families.

Donations are welcome during regular business hours at 7601 E. McKellips Road, Building C.

A little appreciation goes a long way! 💙

Scottsdale Community Partners (SCP) recently hosted its annual appreciation breakfast to recognize the Human Services Department staff and volunteers who make a difference in our community.

This year’s honorees are Julia Bautista, recognized for her work with Back to School and Adopt-a-Family, and Laurie Roberts, a volunteer with the Scottsdale Food Bank.

Congratulations to Julia and Laurie and thank you both for your dedication and all you do for the Scottsdale community!
