Our After School Anime Club spent the afternoon turning ordinary pumpkins into legendary anime icons. From Gojo’s eyes to Pikachu’s cheeks, these pumpkins are built different.

🌵 Beyond the Surface: Identity & Connection

Our middle schoolers created a powerful project tied to our reading of Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling! 📖✨

In the novel, Aven Green navigates the world born without arms, challenging everyone around her—and herself—to look past physical differences and recognize true character. Inspired by her story, students dove into deep discussions about identity, pre-judgment, and what truly makes us who we are.

For their final project, students created unique self-portraits depicting the one thing they couldn't live without, highlighting how there is always so much more to a person than what meets the eye on the outside. 🎨💭

From powerful real-talk stories to interactive moments, our 6th graders brought incredible energy, focus, and leadership to our assembly.

Reading Unwind + Clay Sculpting = Next-level ELA project! ✂️🧠

After diving into Neal Shusterman’s gripping novel about three runaway teens surviving in a dystopian world, our students put their literary analysis skills to work. They wrote in-depth scene breakdowns and sculpted key moments out of clay to show character dynamics and thematic tension.

Our Dual Language Spanish Immersion scholars stepped back into the 18th century to trade... Enlightenment thinkers! 🧠✨ Students researched influential figures of the Enlightenment—from John Locke to Montesquieu and Voltaire—and created custom "Enlightenment Baseball Cards."

Our 8th-grade scientists embarked on a Periodic Table Scavenger Hunt! Instead of just reading about the elements, students explored the classroom to crack clues, identify atomic numbers, and decode how elements interact.
