🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀
This month holds a very special meaning for me—not only as your State Representative, but as someone who is walking through my own breast cancer journey.
I know firsthand the fear, uncertainty, strength, and hope that come with a breast cancer diagnosis. I also know how important it is to have the support of family, friends, healthcare professionals, survivors, and an entire community standing beside you.
That is why I will continue to use my voice to raise awareness and encourage women to know their risk, schedule their screenings, and never put off taking care of themselves. Early detection can make a difference.
This October, I wear pink for every woman currently fighting, every survivor who continues to inspire us, every family who has been impacted, and for those we have sadly lost.
💗 Breast cancer is personal to me. Awareness is personal to me. And supporting those affected by this disease will always be personal to me.
To every woman walking this journey: you are not alone.
