📢 TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES IN DOWNTOWN SCRANTON START TODAY🚦🛑 Starting today Monday, Oct. 19, the City of Scranton Government will begin testing traffic pattern changes at 13 downtown intersections as part of an effort to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians. What you need to know:

🗓️ 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝟯𝟬 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦: Traffic signals will flash red, new stop signs will be installed.
🗓️ 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟲𝟬 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦: Traffic signals will be covered while the city evaluates whether they can be permanently removed.

𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑯𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑼𝑹𝑺𝑫𝑨𝒀! 💍💒🥂The Lackawanna County Register of Wills MARRIAGE LICENSE BUREAU will offer 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟮, from 4 to 7 p.m. During those extended hours, the office also will provide certified copies of existing marriage licenses to obtain a Real I.D. 🪪 Applicants must make an appointment by calling 570-963-6702.

Couples must fill out an application online and both people applying must appear in person. Please bring current photo identifications. Cost is $70.
