Heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once. Our farmers lined miles of dirt roads with their tractors to pay their respects to Tim Peters, a fellow farmer gone too soon.

They always put on such a fun event! …And what’s crazy is, it’s all volunteer!

For anyone new to the area who may not know, we have a pretty cool state recreational area just outside of Scribner, and that’s where all the fun takes place! Just another little gem we’re lucky to have right in our backyard!

Have you seen a strange man walking around town, looking down at what appears to be a phone? Have no fear...he’s not that strange. It’s just Mike the gas man!

Just doin' his annual gas leak checks around town, and that “phone” is actually a handheld laser gas detector.

We’ve always known our librarians were pretty special. Apparently, the rest of the country is catching on!

Our very own Miss Angie was one of only 150 library directors across the United States chosen to represent rural libraries at a special conference in Nevada celebrating America’s 250th birthday!

Miss Angie and Miss Arlene put so much heart into our library and the kids who walk through its doors. We’re lucky to have them right here in Scribner.

Congratulations, Miss Angie! You make our little town proud❤️

DON’T FORGET! DUMMMMP DAAAAY is 8am-5pm TOMORROW!

Stop hoarding those boxes in your garage. You’re never actually going to use them, and deep down, you know it...let them go.

Nothing says small town like having your class reunion tootin’ around town on folding chairs in a trailer being pulled by a tractor.

It was in fact, ADORABLE! Love us some ingenuity!

After running for said trailer to snap photo, I was too out of breath to ask what class they were. Does anyone know?

Don’t be alarmed by the big bright ball in the sky. We’re told it’s supposed to be there.
