Kimberly Boniface was formally sworn in as a sergeant with the Seabrook Police Department during the September 1, 2026, regular City Council meeting.

Boniface began her law enforcement career with the Department in January 2016. Throughout her career, she has served as a patrol officer, bailiff, and community engagement officer.

She is certified as a police instructor by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) and serves as one of the Department’s defensive tactics instructors. For several years, she has also led the department's R**e Aggression Defense (RAD) program, a self-defense course offered to women in the community at no cost.

“Sergeant Boniface’s leadership, dedication, and tenacity have consistently distinguished her as an exceptional member of our department,” Police Chief Rolf Nelson said. “We are proud of all she has accomplished and confident she will bring the same leadership, dedication, and determination to her new role.”

Congratulations, Sergeant Boniface!

The Seabrook Police Department is helping students celebrate the start of a new school year with a cool treat.

Watch for the Seabrook PD Jeep after school on:
• August 12, 2026: West side neighborhoods
• August 13, 2026: East side neighborhoods

Officers will be handing out free popsicles to students as they welcome everyone back to school. When you see the Jeep, give us a wave, stop by to say hello and grab a treat.

We wish all students, families, teachers and school staff a safe and successful school year. Please stay alert and use extra caution while traveling through school zones and neighborhoods.
