*** 1:30pm WATER OUTAGE UPDATE***

FROM ALDERMAN M. TROWBRIDGE:

Okay, this is going to be a good news, bad news update. As of this moment, with the east side and Swan Point/Falcon Point isolated, tank levels have stabilized. This means we should NOT have to interrupt services to anyone who currently has water!

The decision was made to turn the water back on to the areas currently effected with the outage at 5pm then back off at 8pm. In the morning at 5am the water will be turned back on and turned back off at 8am. This schedule will be repeated until the leak is located and repaired.

Seadrift Police Department offers our sincerest condolences to the Department and family during this most difficult time.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sgt Michael Krucenski of the Goliad County Sheriff’s Office.

Sgt Krucenski was found deceased this morning. He appears to have passed from natural causes while conducting physical fitness training on the indoor track at GHS.

Michael was a dedicated public servant who put the safety and security of the students and staff at Goliad ISD as his top priority. He was loved and admired for his gracious personality, sense of humor, and dedication to duty.

We will miss Michael being part of our GCSO family and offer our condolences to Michael’s family, as well as the staff and students at GISD.

Sgt Michael Krucenski will be missed but not forgotten.

His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25:21
