🎃👻 ONE NIGHT, TWO AMAZING EVENTS AT RCHS! 🇺🇸⭐

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 29th, because Russell County High School is bringing our community together for an evening of FUN, FAMILY, and RESOURCES! ❤️💛

🎃 RCHS TRUNK OR TREAT
🕔 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Bring your little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses for an evening of treats and Halloween fun! 🍬🍭

👻 Open to elementary-aged children and younger.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. No drop-offs permitted.

🇺🇸 MILITARY-CONNECTED FAMILY RESOURCE FAIR
🕕 Begins at 6:00 PM

Behind every great band is an even greater support system, and our Warrior Band has some of the BEST! Thank you for always going the extra mile (literally 😂) for our students!

October is National Principals Month, and Russell County High School is proud to celebrate our very own principal, Mr. Chris Daniel!

Mr. Daniel, thank you for your dedication, leadership, and commitment to making RCHS a place where students and staff can grow and succeed. Your hard work, encouragement, and passion for our school do not go unnoticed.

Being a principal is no easy task, but you continue to lead with strength, positivity, and a heart for our Warriors. We are grateful for everything you do behind the scenes and the difference you make each day!

Today, we enjoyed showing you a little extra appreciation because you certainly deserve it!

🐾🐶🐱 Future Veterinary Professionals in Action at RCHS! 🩺❤️🖤

Our Russell County High School Therapeutic Services students have spent this week exploring the exciting world of Veterinary Medicine!

Today, students brought their learning to life through an interactive, hands-on lab featuring three different veterinary career settings: 🌊 SeaWorld, 🦁 Warrior Zoo, and 🐾 a Community Veterinary Clinic!

Students stepped into the roles of veterinarians and veterinary technicians as they checked in their animal patients, researched normal vital signs, recorded weights, performed simulated X-rays, and provided patient care.

And of course, no vet visit is complete without checking out and paying the bill! 💵 Students even practiced important real-world financial and life skills!

A special thank-you to Ms. Cody for visiting our veterinary clinics and allowing our students to put their skills to the test! ❤️

We love seeing our students engaged in meaningful, hands-on learning that connects classroom instruction to real-world careers!

This is what Career Technical Education is all about! 🐾👏

We had a wonderful PTO meeting tonight at Russell County High School! Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and staff who took time out of their busy schedules to come together and support our students and school.

Parent involvement plays an important role in student success, and we are excited about the opportunity to strengthen our school community through teamwork, communication, and collaboration.

🌎🌤️ LIVE FROM RCHS… IT’S YOUR WARRIOR WEATHER REPORT! 🎤⛅🌪️

Today, students in Mrs. Rinaldi’s Earth and Space Science class stepped into the role of meteorologists! 🌦️📺

Students selected specific geographic areas, researched weather conditions, learned how to read and interpret different weather forecast maps, and presented their findings to their classmates!

This engaging activity brought science to life while strengthening students’ research, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills! 👏📚

We love seeing our Warriors take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to real-world situations!

🌟 Way to go, future meteorologists! Keep learning, exploring, and forecasting bright futures! ☀️

Jackie is making moves toward her future with acceptances to Jacksonville State University, Huntingdon College, and Troy University!

She’s just getting started, and we couldn’t be more excited to see all the opportunities ahead of her. With several great options already on the table, we can’t wait to see where she makes her final decision!
