🎣 Good character deserves a great catch!
On Thursday, several AJHS students traded the classroom for some time by the pond! These Lions earned a special fishing trip for showing good character and doing their best at AJHS. We’re proud of the example they set each day! 🦁❤️
A big thank you to Mr. Bob Smith for welcoming our students to his pond and helping make this reward so special!

Our 7th and 8th graders took math off the page and into motion this week! After demonstrating impressive mastery on their recent quiz, students earned the chance to explore algebra through an interactive scavenger hunt.
It was a great way to reinforce key concepts, collaborate with peers, and prove that math can be both challenging and fun!

🔎 It’s been a busy couple of weeks in our Careers classes at AJHS!
After researching different careers, students shared what they learned about their chosen job. Students also visited the Searcy Police Department to learn about fingerprinting and background checks during the job application process, along with the importance of online safety.
Thank you to the Searcy Police Department for welcoming our students and sharing your knowledge! Our Lions are exploring possibilities and preparing for their futures! 🦁❤️

🎁 Choose Kindness. Give Joy. ❤️
Celebrate Red Ribbon Week by giving back! October 26–30, AJHS is collecting NEW, UNWRAPPED toys and gifts to help make Christmas brighter for students in the Searcy School District.
🎁 Gifts are needed for students in grades K–12.
📍 Drop off donations in the AJHS library.
Don’t forget our older students! Games, art supplies, sports balls, building sets, books, journals, headphones, and cozy blankets make great gifts for tweens and teens.
