Your body often knows you’re struggling before you say, “I’m struggling.”
Sometimes it’s the headache that keeps coming back. The exhaustion that makes no sense. The tight chest on Sunday evening. The stomach that turns before a difficult conversation. The jaw you didn’t notice you were clenching. The sudden urge to cry when someone simply asks, “Are you okay?”
We can become so used to pushing through that we stop noticing how much our body is carrying.
And sometimes we treat those signals as something to fight:
Why am I so tired? Why can’t I relax? Why does my heart keep racing? Why do I feel like this?
But your body isn’t always the problem. Sometimes it’s giving you information.
Maybe you’ve been holding things together for too long.
Maybe something doesn’t feel safe.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed.
Maybe you need a boundary, a conversation, support or simply some rest.
You don’t need to analyse every sensation or assume it has an emotional cause. But it can help to get curious about the patterns that keep showing up.
Instead of only asking, “What’s wrong with me?” try asking, “What might my body be trying to tell me?”
Sometimes that question changes everything. 💜
