Join us for the Olmstead Legacy Tours to learn how the Olmstead Brothers shaped and designed the parks system we all love today! Guides from the “Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks” will introduce and lead you on short walks through Seward Park, Washington Park Arboretum, and Volunteer Park. Walks will be on a variety of surfaces, including lawn and gravel paths.

Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Summer 2026 programming is now available in our Recreation Program Brochure, Lifelong Recreation Brochure for adults 50+, and Specialized Programs Brochure for people with disabilities. ☀️

From sports and yoga to arts, pottery, outdoor adventures, and family programs, there’s something for everyone this summer.

Bring your favorite dish and join the community at International District Chinatown Community Center’s Friday Family Dinner series with Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning.

The next events will be held on June 5 and June 26 and will include a youth cooking class from 4:30-6:30 PM, followed by a community dinner at 7 PM for everyone to enjoy!
