I am so glad to have grown up here in Monroe.
Thank you for being a part of our community.

The thing I want from all of this is for each of us to see the value in the people we encounter. To stop thinking you can say all the rude things in your mind because you have a tiny keyboard in front of you instead of the human heart you are wounding with your words.
When the casual rudeness starts, it's followed by forgetting about the humanity of... everyone.
And here we are in the aftermath.
We all have a story behind the face, we all feel the underlying anxiety of the last few months, and maybe more.

Please be kind.

And stand up for what's right.

Good morning, Monroe!
It was so quiet this morning that I could hear the flag snapping in the wind.
I am grateful for my hometown.
Take care of each other.

Yesterday our Committee meeting was held at the Waste Water Treatment Plant (see this cute note from some our younger users). During our Council meeting we got to say a grateful farewell to Sgt. Johnston. 👮‍♂️💓
