🚨 Magnolia could lose future light rail stations if Sound Transit scales back the Ballard Link Extension.

A proposal being considered this week would stop the line at Seattle Center instead of extending to Ballard.

That could eliminate planned stations near the Magnolia Bridge and Dravus — a major concern for Magnolia access and emergency mobility.

Please speak up before the May 28 Sound Transit Board meeting.

🚨 Portion of Miracle Beach Closed as Precaution Public Health - Seattle & King County has recommended closing 1,800 feet of Miracle Beach, just south of the West Point Lighthouse at Discovery Park, through noon on Dec. 5, 2025. 💧 Why? A treated and disinfected water overflow occurred. Because the water that overflowed was fully treated and disinfected, Public Health has determined that water sampling is not needed. However, out of an abundance of caution Public Health is recommending the closure. ⚠️ What to Avoid: People and pets should avoid the red-shaded area shown on the map and standing water on the ground or near stormwater drains. 🚧 Signs have been posted on site. Stay tuned for updates as recommendations may change. @KCPubHealth
