You know what’s coming, Seattle…rainy season is almost here! Now’s a great time to clean those gutters, clear leaves and debris, check for leaks, and make sure your home is ready for wet weather.

Need a ladder, shop vac, caulk gun, or other tool? Check WSTL before heading to the hardware store!

Meet Toby! He's been teaching our milling class for 4 months now, and he's awesome at it. By day he runs his own construction company, but he still makes time for WSTL because he believes in community support and loves helping people get comfortable using tools.

Outside the shop, you'll find him coaching Little League Baseball, hanging out with his pets, and off fishing somewhere.

We received a special member testimonial this month, and we love hearing how WSTL helped make a big project possible.

"We sanded and refinished the existing cabinets, installed new LVP flooring, brand new trim/baseboards, new countertops, new lighting, and are currently waiting to get the new backsplash and a microwave/hood combo installed above the range.

Thanks again for what you guys do at the WSTL, without you guys we would have been buying these tools that we definitely didn't need to have full time. You guys are a lifesaver!"

As much as we’d like it to, summer won’t last forever!

Make the most of what’s left by checking off those outdoor projects: paint the fence, refresh the patio, or tackle some overdue yard maintenance.

Need the tools? Borrow paint brushes, rollers, ladders, pressure washers, hedge trimmers, rakes, shovels, and more from the West Seattle Tool Library. Then go get those projects done before the rain returns!
