Seattle Community Court

Seattle Community Court opened in March 3, 2005, initially addressing low level chronic offenders in the Downtown Core and Pioneer Square neighborhoods.

In March of 2007, it was expanded citywide. Seattle Community Court was the 26th Community Court in the United States but, is unique in the challenging population it serves. It has been nationally recognized as a leader in this area.
