Van Asselt was built on a plot of land by WPA in 1938 and sits at the corner of 8.8 acres of land. Join us for the Olmstead Legacy Tours to learn how the Olmstead Brothers shaped and designed the parks system we all love today! Guides from the “Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks” will introduce and lead you on short walks through Seward Park, Washington Park Arboretum, and Volunteer Park. Walks will be on a variety of surfaces, including lawn and gravel paths.
