We are thrilled to invite you all to join us for a Lunch and Learn event with Chanell Hasty, the author of “On Common Ground: Community Partnerships in Stadium & Infrastructure Development.” Chanell is part of the Accelerator for America team we’ve been working with on our Thriving Communities Program grant, and this study looks at Inglewood, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia for lessons on partnering.

Historic South Downtown’s funding, through HB1408, is an example of positive partnering agreements that are now funding grants back into South Downtown.

HSD seeks to provide funding for capital projects that elevate the voices of those who live, work, and play in the South Downtown Seattle neighborhoods of Pioneer Square and Chinatown International District. Funded projects will help build community strength and identity, and develop resilience in these two historic districts.
